Beyond the Barrier Safety Consulting is led by Anthony Woodson, a seasoned safety and emergency management professional with extensive experience in high-risk, high-visibility environments. Anthony has spent his career working at the intersection of guest safety, employee protection, emergency response, and operational continuity.
His background includes leadership roles in safety and compliance within accredited zoological and attraction settings, emergency medical services, military corrections, and healthcare communications. This multidisciplinary experience allows him to evaluate risk from multiple perspectives—operational, regulatory, medical, security, and reputational—and deliver solutions that are realistic, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Anthony has led emergency planning and response efforts for severe weather, large-scale events, and complex incidents, working closely with internal teams and external public safety partners. His work emphasizes preparedness, decision-making under pressure, and building confident teams capable of responding effectively when it matters most.
